Diljit Dosanjh promoting his next film ‘Sardaarji’ with stage shows in major cities, film releasing this Friday
NewZNew (Jalandhar) : Punjabi super star Diljit Dosanjh is ready with his next ‘ghostly’ romantic comedy film Sardaarji which is hitting the screens this Friday (26th June, 2015). But before making a screen appearance, the star is busy promoting the film with various stage shows happening around major cities. On Tuesday, Diljit performed at Nikku Park,Model town Jalandhar where, like every time, crowd gathered in huge number.
The film is a production of White Hill Production in association with Dalmora Entertainment. Other than Diljit, Neeru Bajwa, Mandy Takhar and Jaswinder Bhalla are playing the main characters. It has been directed by Rohit Jugraj and produced by Gunbir Sidhu and Manmord Sidhu.
Talking about his performances Diljit said, “Music is always my first love. As a singer I am always ready to perform on stage as it helps me to connect live with my fans and lovers. The crowd, the noise, the atmosphere they create is out of the world.”
Diljit is playing the role of Jaggi in the film who is a professional ghost hunter. The actor believes that all true Punjabis are like Jaggi who love to catch ghosts instead of being afraid of them. The music of the film is doing very well all over and it drives Diljit more and more to perform on the stage.
The consecutive shows will happen in Jalandhar, Amritsar and Ludhiana and Diljit is very excited about it. He said, “Touring through my Punjab is always an enjoyable thing for me. It is also a good way to remember my old days of growing up and moving towards the music industry. I am looking forward to an outstanding response to my film which has been so wonderfully made by such a talented team.”
