• Anti Social element are under being monitored strictly.
• SSP waived the green flag to 10 Motorcycles of PCR.

NewZNew (S A S Nagar) : District Police is committed for the safety of citizens and a close monitoring is being done on anti social elements. This was stated by SSP Sh. Gurpreet Singh Bhullar while he was addressing the press at Police Station Phase 1 Mohali, after waiving off the green signal to 10 Motorcycles for PCR & three vehicles cars for surveillance of International Airport.

Sh. Bhullar said that entire district has been divided in to 35 beats. worth mentioning at here that 25 beats are already equipped with PCR motorcycles for 24hr. patrolling. But now by providing 10 new motorcycles the remaining beats will also gets covered for patrolling. These motorcycles will be equipped with Hooters, LED Lights & Wireless system and will be engaged for 24 hr. patrolling. SSP further informed that DGP Punjab has provided 3 new vehicles for security of international airport. These vehicles include Tata Sumo, Bolero & Jipsy.

Sh. Bhullar said that one officer of the rank of Inspector has been deputed for security of International Airport which will be overall in charge of all police staff at Airport. He said that for safety of airport, a commando battalion has been deputed at outer of airport. He said that a Police Station is also being established at Airport. Initial activities in this regard has started. During this DSP (Head quarter) Sh. Wazir Singh Khehra, DSP (City 1) Sh. Aalam vijay Singh & other police officers were present.
