Over 100 members of Chandigarh Golf Club participate in 3 categories – above 65, below 65 and ladies
NewZNew (Chandigarh) : Vikrant Bhardwaj (41 points), Col G S Brar (24 points) and Ms Binny Bath (37 points) won titles in the below 65 years category, above 65 years category (9 holes only) and ladies category respectively in the one-day2016 edition of ‘Fortis Healthy Heart Golf Tournament’ at the Chandigarh Golf Club on Saturday. Col SDS Batth (39 points), Paul Duggal (22 points) and Ms Shalini (30 points) finished runners respectively in the three categories. More than 100 members of the Chandigarh Golf Club, including six women, participated in the tournament.
In other competitions, Ricky Mann won the longest drive prize in the under 65 years category with a 292 yards effort, Gen. J K Sapru in the above 65 years category with 270 years and Vasundhara Thiara in the ladies category with 270 years. The closest to the pin award, common among all categories, went to Akash Garg, getting as close a 5 metres to the pin.
