newznew (Mumbai) : USHA International Ltd, one of India’s leading consumer durable companies and the ‘Official Partner’ of Mumbai Indians for the fourth consecutive year organized an exclusive Meet and Greet event with Key MI players Rohit Sharma, Lasith Malinga and Kieron Pollard.
Also, present at the event were the top eight players of the Indian Deaf Cricket team who recently won the Asia cup and kids who are a part of the Usha “skill to play sports development program” for healthy and active living from the slums in Mumbai along with key trade partners and top performing employees. They were all felicitated by the MI players. Usha has been associated with the All India cricket association for the deaf for promoting the cricket for deaf and is the first company promoting Frisbee not only in urban India but also at the grass root level across the Mumbai slums.
The event began with an engaging demonstration of bowling and batting skills to inspire and exchange notes with deaf cricket players, Frisbee players and trade partners. This was followed by a felicitation ceremony and demonstration of the Usha Cold Press Juicer showcasing its utility and functions. In addition, the evening saw an exciting round of ‘Mumbai Indians Trivia- Q& A session’ followed by dinner.
