UP SI admit card 2017 has been released. Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment & Promotion Board, UPPBPB, Lucknow has released the admit card for online test for Sub Inspector Civil Police (Male) 3 days ago at it’s website www.uppbpb.gov.in. The aspiring candidates will also receive an SMS to download their admit card on the filled in mobile number in the application form. Candidates can download the admit card by filling in their respective registration number and date of birth. Along with the admit card the link for Mock test has also been updated. The Mock Test has been made available from July 01 – 31, 2017 on the official website. The online written examination will be held from July 17 – 31, 2017.
The test is being held for direct recruitment for posts of sub inspector civil police (2400 posts), platoon commander PAC (210 posts) and fire brigade officer (97 posts) for men -2016. The test is also being held for direct recruitment for posts of sub inspector civil police (600 posts) for women – 2016. For the same the number of applications received from men is around 5,42,124 and while that from women it is around 88,802. Total 6,30, 926 applications have been received so far.
In lieu of the applications received, sub inspector civil police, platoon commander PAC and fire brigade officer the online written test will be held in more than one dates and different question papers will be used for all the dates. Moreover the Normalisation from this year onwards will be done on the basis of Standardised Equ -percentile Method.
Examination Pattern – Number of Question in Hindi 40, Number of Question in Constitution: 24 and General Knowledge: 16, Number of Question in Numerical and Mental Ability: 40, Number of Question in Police Mansik Abhiruchi/Budhi Pariksha/Tarkit Pariksha: 40. Maximum Marks for each subject is 100. Total questions asked will be 160. Total Marks are 400. Time Duration is 2 hours. Every question carries 2.50 marks each. Every question will have 4 options.
In every subject the candidates are required to score more than 50%, else they should not be considered qualified. All the questions will be asked in Both Hindi and English except Hindi subject.
First Stage of Selection Process is Online Written Exam. Candidates who secure Minimum Marks decided by UP Police will call for Next Stage i.e. Document Verification & Physical Standard Test (PST). Candidates who declare qualify in PST will be called up for Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & Medical Exam, character Verification.
