In two days 20th ISTE Students National Annual Convention held at Regional Institute of Science & Technology, Ri-Bhoi, Meghalaya students of Shaheed Udham Singh Group of Institutions, Tangori (SUSGOI) captured “KONGU ENGINEERING COLLEGE TROPHY FOR OVERALL CHAMPIONSHIP”.

In 20th ISTE Students National Annual Convention students from all over India vied for top title. Shaheed Udham Singh College of Engineering & Technology, Tangori was also awarded “ISTE BEST STUDENT CHAPTER AWARD” amongst all colleges in Punjab, H.P & J&K. Navneet Singh, Love Tyagi of 2nd semester in Computer Science Engineering and Naveen Yadav, Faizan Ul Haq of 7th semester in Mechanical Engineering performed fantastically well by winning special award for Paper Presentation in their respective fields.

Love Tyagi captured 3rd prize in quiz. Naviljyot Kaur of Biotechnology department was honoured with “Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Engineering College, FateHGARH SAHIB” National Award for Best B-Tech project from  Engineering Colleges related to sustainable development . Naveen Yadav, Faizan Ul Haq and Abhishek Sharma, of Biotechnology Engineering won Punjab Technical University Award for “YOUNG ENGINEER INNOVATORS PROJECT” in their relevant fields.

Er. Sukhwinder Singh Sidhu, Chairman SUSGOI while congratulating the students patted their backs who participated in the competition and brought glory to the Institution. . SUS always harnesses on good talent and works for giving the best coaching and practical exposure to the students so that they can perform very well in every field.
