NewZNew (Mumbai) : Shiv Sena MLA Ask Govt to Stop Releasing Bajirao Mastani in Maharashtra, Will Bajirao Mastani Release on Maharashtra?: A Shiv Sena MLA has asked the Maharashtra government to prevent the launch of the forthcoming movie Bajirao Mastani of Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The movie Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra is scheduled to release on December 18. Pratap Sarnaik, MLA in a memorandum submitted to Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, from Thane district has encouraged him till the contentious, controversial scenes in the movie will not be cut, to not permit the launch of the movie.
The movie then simply the permission be allowed because of its release and be shown to the legislators, Sarnaik said. Fadnavis in his comments on the memorandum has requested the authorities take actions so after which to find proper advice, an official from the Office of Chief Minister said. The Shiv Sena legislator has alleged that lead actors in Deepika Padukone, the movie Ranbir Singh and Priyanka Chopra have taken out a heavy cost for playing in the movie.

The MLA further said the heirs of Bajirao Peshwa (I) and some social organisations have raised objections over the contents of the movie and that there arguments have received no justice as yet.
