NewZNew (S A S Nagar) : Quest Group of Institutions organized an Industrial visit for Mangment Students to Kandhari Beverages Pvt. Ltd., Sirhind. KBPL is the approved franchisee bottler for Coca Cola India to bottle various soft soft drink brands owned by CCI. The products are sold in two packing media, glass bottles and polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottles. The company also produces syrups for use by soda fountains.
It was an Eye opening and practical experience for students, in which they experience about Procedure for bottling of beverages, automated process line works, how quality is maintained throughout the process, later, they learnt about the supply chain management and packing & sampling .
It was the best experience to understand the actual working is done on automated line where students also got opportunity to clear their queries to understand about the actual scenario of mechanical engineering applied in a food industry.
While at this occasion Chairman D S Sekhon said that through this visit students from various streams could assess their industry readiness and check calibrate of their aspirations meter. Such visits also enables the students to understand appreciate working opportunities & the challenges associated with it.
