Petrol prices have shot up currently commanding Rs. 74.08 per liter in the national capital, the highest since Sept. 2013. Moreover, the diesel has reached an all-time high of Rs. 65.31 in Delhi.
Petroleum Minister Dharmender Pradhan said that the hike in the international market is due to the Syrian crisis and the US threatening to impose sanctions against Iran.
