NewZNew (Panchkula) : The district will be hosting the 6th edition of Mega North India Dance Competition ‘Dance Pe Chances’ from July 28. Addressing media persons here at New India Senior Secondary School in Sector 15 here, Mukesh Badal, Director, Dream Dance Academy, which is organising the event, informed that the competition which will be at North India level, will be held at HMT Pinjore Auditorium.
He informed in the Solo Category the age group would be 3 to 7 years, 7 to 15 years, and 15 years above. In every category there will be a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh each. Duet and Group Song category has also been kept in the competition for which there is no age bar and winners in these categories will also be awarded Rs 1 lakh each.
Badal informed second and third prizes will also be awarded in the competition for which the last date of registration is July 12. New India Senior Secondary School in Sector 15 is supporting the dance competition.
Sanjay Yadav, noted Choreographer, who will be the judge for the competition was also present on the occasion. He is the personal trainer of Bollywood Stars Hrithik Roshan, Harman Baweja, Shraddha Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Arjun Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor. Etc. Yadav while addressing the media said no auditions are being taken for the competition which will be held from July 28 to August 3. Yadav said the competition was for the first time organised at a north India level.
Among others present included, Gian Chand Gupta, Panchkula MLA, Latika Sharma, Kalka MLA, K.K. Gupta, President of the New India Senior Secondary School, Sharda Gupta, Director of the school, Bhag Singh Damdama, BJP leader, Arvind Sharma, Satish Badal, Dinesh Shukla, Ajay Pathania and other members of the Dream Dance Academy were also present.
Gian Chand Gupta and Latika Sharma while speaking on the occasion said such events help the children to compete and also helps in their personality development. The Dream Dance Academy members felicitated the guests present on the occasion.
