A Painting competition on spiritual and social topics was organized today by Chandigarh branch of Sant Nirankari Mandal at Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan, Sector 30 A, Chandigarh. Approximately 350 children from Tricity, of age group 7-16 years participated. Children expressed their thoughts through art and colour on topics like Tree Plantation, Cleanliness Drive, Glimpse of Nirankari Mission, Teachings of Nirankari Mission, Nirankari literature, Happy Family, Service to Humanity, etc.

The painting competition was inaugurated by Sh. Navneet Pathak  ji, Sanyojak of Chandigarh. He said that prime aim of organizing this completion is to change the child attitude because if such feelings are inculcated in the children then in future feeling of brotherhood can be built not only in society but also in entire universe.

Smt. J. K. Cheema ji, Sanyojak of Mohali Branch, and Smt. Usha ji, Smt. Aruna Sharma Ji, Sh. Ashok Kumar Ji and other distinguished saints were also present on this occasion.

Sh Navneet Pathak ji said that all the children who participated would be given certificates by Sant Nirankari Mandal Chandigarh. The first, second and third rank holders will be awarded by Nirankari Mission. Additionally good paintings made by children shall be displayed in exhibition at Annual Sant Nirankari Annual Samagam scheduled from 18th to 20th November in New Delhi.
