NewZNew (Chandigarh) : OPPO a leading global technology brand with presence in North America, Europe and Asia today announced the launch of its cost-effective model – Neo 5 in the Indian market. With aesthetic mirror appearance and dual metal skeleton body, this low budget smartphone is aimed at the mid-range mobile market and is priced at MOP of Rs 9,990/- and will be available in India from June 15, 2015.
OPPO Neo 5 offers a dual SIM card featuring a 2000mAh Li-Polymer Battery (unremovable) with 180 hours of standby time. It offers a 1.3GHz Quad Core Processor with 1 GB RAM. Neo 5 sports 4.5 inch IPS display with 480X854 pixels. This Smartphone runs on Color OS 2.0.1i based on Android 4.4 powered by MediaTek MT6582. The Smartphone weighs 135gm and has 219 PPI. It has 8GB ROM which is expandable upto 32GB.

The OPPO Neo 5 uses a 4.5-inch screen with a mirror cover front & back body that measures only 480×854 along with 219 PPI. The front screen is the most scratch-resistant Dragon trail glass. The rear cover is applied with special laminating, and the material used is the glass fiber which is military using class. It gets more tenacity and wear-resisting, and we hardened it for scratch-resistant. For this kind of “soft and pliable” back cover, the scratch-resistant level is made up to 4H.
