NEET 2017 All India Merit List has been been released at the official website. The Baba Farid University of Health Sciences,Faridkot (BFUHS) has released the list of NEET 2017 for the candidates who have appeared from Punjab on its official website. The  medical aspirants from the Punjab state can check the complete list here. It has been mentioned on the official website that although the university has the all India result, but to prevent its misuse the result of only those candidates who have applied Punjab as their appearing state in NEET-2017, is loaded, so that the candidates could have mental picture of their relative merit.

NEETBFUHS vice-chancellor Dr Raj Bahadur mentioned that the BFUHS is the first university to upload the merit list He also stated that the university will draw its state merit list on the basis of which their counselling for MBBS and BDS courses The decision to upload the merit list has been taken to ensure transparency and all candidates will have the opportunity to see their relative position among the candidates.

The medical aspirants are required to note that they the merit list of NEET 2017 for UG admissions include roll number, NEET marks, NEET Percentile and NEET All India Rank. It has to be noted that an All India merit list has been prepared in percentile which is determined on the basis of highest marks which have been secured by the candidates in the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test for admission to MBBS/BDS courses as per Para V(II), Chapter II of Graduate Medical Education Regulations issued under Medical Council of India Act & Dental Council of India Act.

This year the seats which will be filled through NEET-UG in the following categoriesAll India Quota Seats, State Government Quota Seats, State/Management/NRI Quota Seats in Private Medical/ Dental Colleges or any Private/ Deemed University and Central Pool Quota Seats Some of Highlights of NEET-UG, 2017 are as the University has following six faculties which include Faculty of Medical Sciences, Faculty of Dental Sciences, Faculty of Nursing Sciences, Faculty of Ayurveda, Faculty of Physiotherapy and Faculty of Homoeopathy.  (Aspirants can go through the complete merit list here)
