NewZNew (Chandigarh) : Nav Bal Niketan Model School organized “Traffic safety and Fun Ride Day” in its premises with the help of Honda Motorcycle and Scooter Company, Gurgaon. Executives from the company explained the students all about the road signs and the importance of following the road signs. Students were told about the rules that even pedestrians have to follow while walking on the road. How important can helmet be for a pillion rider was also told to the students? Safety gear for person riding a bike was shown to the students.
On the spot quiz competition was organized on the road signs. The best part was the “Fun ride” using kiddy bike with all the safety accessories that was thoroughly enjoyed by all the students.
Principal Mrs Punam Mahajan told students to follow the traffic rules as pedestrians.
