NewZNew (Chandigarh) : Chitkara International School is hosting one of its own kinds of Interschool Kindergarten Event- “Modnique 2015 – The Ministry of Fun”. The three days event is mainly intended for Nursery, Lower Kindergarten and Upper Kindergarten students of the tricity. Around 300 students from 45 different schools participated in this inter school event.
Modnique 2015 (The Ministry of fun) is a unique initiative which will be a milestone in enhancing the interest of students in extra-curricular activities. The three days event is a synergy of three competitions Music Grazioso, Dance Devantoz and Little Ranzos. A variety of Music, Dance & Sports was showcased by the tiny tots. This year’s theme is “Toyland”
Day one witnessed the theme “Toy & Fantasy” of through group singing competition. The students participated with great zeal. Day two will be devoted to Dance Devantoz – where the little dancers will tap the floor using different toys. The event will conclude with the Little Ranzos – where the tiny tots will showcase their strength and stamina through various fun races like balance race, relay race, obstacle race, fill & fun race. The true spirit of Inter School dawned with all the schools participating with a competitive spirit and enthusiasm. The students experienced the beauty of unity and team spirit through these fun filled competitive activities.
Dr. Niyati Chitkara, Principal, Chitkara International School said, “We believe in and prorogate the idea of holistic development of the child from the nascent years. It is for endorsing the same ideology, that the school is organizing Modnique 2015, to stimulate dancing, singing and athletic skills. This is the second year of our flagship event “Modnique”. We have weaved this interschool competition as there aren’t many platforms where kindergarteners represent their skills.”
