Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET 2017) second round allotment result has been published by KEA for Engineering, Architecture, Agriculture, Pharma-D and ISM & H (Ayush) courses. The candidates where required to check their respective allotments from the official web portal of Karnataka Examinations Authority at kea.kar.nic.in. KEA had earlier announced the first round CET allotment result on June 26. The students were required to exercise choices, making payment, downloading of admission order and reporting to the respective allotted colleges were extended to July 7. KEA had earlier revised the second round schedule.
The students where required to check CET cut off marks for admissions by clicking on the respective courses links available at kea.kar.nic.in/cet_2017.htm. Based on the KEA allotment results, the students where required to confirm their choices on allotment by July 20. The students were required to report to the allotted colleges which has been set as July 21, up to 5.30 pm. The KEA had conducted the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (CET 2017) on May 2 & 3.
It is important to note that the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) will allot the seats online in the order of merit and based on the priority of options obtained from the candidates. Candidates will also need to enter the options of their choice at KEA website on their own arrangements. They will need to enter their choice to enter as many number of options as they desire. Candidates will be required to note that they should enter their priority of options carefully. The admission to Government seats will be made in accordance with the Karnataka Selection of Candidates for Admission to Government Seats in Professional Educational Institutions Rules, 2006 as amended from time to time.
