NewZNew (S A S Nagar) : Oakridge International School provided the children of Primary segment a day full of fun and enjoyment. The Junior sports saga conducted the students participate in a range of sports activities. From enthusiastic swimmers to the courageous skaters, from committed athletes to fun loving racers, each child was seen participating with complete joy in the sports events.
Children were given the freedom to choice between swimming, skating and track events. The sports coaches provided an obstacle course for the children in order to help them explore their gross and motor skills on the field. Majority of the children took part in all events of their segment so that they try their potential in a range of sports events.
The school Principal Ramanjit Ghuman stated that sports is one such domain where if given proper boost children showcase immense talent and potential.
Winners in the various categories were:
In swimming under the various age groups the winners in boys were Aryan, Tanveer, Devansh, Nishit, Arjun, Neel Kanth, Ashmit, Harsh and Armaan. In girls the winners were Manveer, Nehmat, Samreet, Janya, Jeena, Eshmeet, Ashwika and Keiryn.
In skating the winners were Arshpreet, Manjot, Karanveer, Aarav, Haishneer, Sehaj, Devansh, Arjun, Jashanjeet, Jashandeep, Gurkamal, Vansh, Sukhpinder, Vanshika, Abhijeet, Tanveer and Asees.
In obstacle races the winners were Romair, Rajjasnoor, Lakshveer, Sara, Jasmol, Yashna, Abhimanyu, Manav, Shehbaaz, Harkarman, Paakhi and Anoop.
