Yet, there are few like music composer who are striving to keep classical music thriving, Jeet Gannguli is certainly one of them. The composer who has his own ardent fan following courtesy the music of films like AASHIQUI 2, BLOOD MONEY, CITY LIGHS, SINGHAM 2 and KHAMOSHIYAAN, which have won over the hearts of the audiences.
Recently at an event, the composer was praised by legendary singers like Kavitha Krishnamurthy and Hariharan for his soulful songs from the film CITY LIGHTS. Sources present at the do, claim the singers went to the extent of saying that the CITY LIGHTS album was the best of 2014.
The classical music connoisseur like Kavitha Krishnamurthy actually said that she has always liked the compositions of Jeet Gannguli, and particularly the raag based song ‘Sone do…’ from CITY LIGHTS was one of her favourites, of course she exclaimed how much she loved the whole album.
