ICAR result 2017 for All India Entrance Examination for Admission (AIEEA) 2017 of UG and PG courses has now been declared finally, as per Indian Council of Agriculture Research (ICAR). ICAR AIEEA result 2017 can be checked at ICAR website www.icarexam.net where the scorecards of the students have been uploaded.

The result of the 22nd All India Entrance examinations for admission (AIEEA) conducted by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) are tentatively scheduled to be announced today. Initially, the results were speculated to be announced on 30th May, however, another date (5 July) was provided by the Council for the same. The candidates will be able to check ICAR results at the official website www.icarexam.net.
The Indian Council of Agricultural Research conducts national-level entrance examinations for admissions to 15 percent seats in all Agricultural Universities across the Country. In the same regards, AIEEA-UG was conducted by the Council on 10th June for admission to Bachelor’s programs. On June 11, the entrance examination for Masters (AIEEA-PG) and Ph.D. (AICE-JRF/ SRF – PGS) was conducted. The qualified students will be offered admission to degree programs in Agriculture & Allied Sciences based on the merit in the entrance exam.
There has been constant delays this year in regard to ICAR entrance exam. Initially, the exam date got moved from May to June and then the result declaration got delayed. This delay in result may lead to postponement of online counselling too. As per the tentative schedule, the counselling for admissions to 15% seats was to be held in three round, with the first round of online counselling to commence from 7th July. Even if the ICAR results are announced today, two-days time will not be enough for preparation of online counselling process.
For now, the students just want to know their entrance exam result and are less worried about the counselling. Talking to us on 30th June, one aspirant had said, “I have taken UG entrance exam by ICAR and have given my best. I am sure that I will crack a seat in PUSA, but currently I just want to know my result.”
There are around 1800 seats in Undergraduate programs to be filled through ICAR AIEEA-UG 2017. These seats are distributed among streams such as Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Fisheries, Community Science, Sericulture, Agricultural Engineering, Dairy Technology, Food Technology and Biotechnology. ICAR will prepare an overall merit-rank list on the basis of marks in entrance exam and will allot the seats to the students based on their ranks and choices.
