NewZNew (Amritsar) : Harmanveer Singh was declared Mr. Punjab at the Grand Finale of Mr. Punjab Contest organised by PTC Punjabi Group of Channels. Jalandhar boy, a student of Apee Jay College has won this first ever Mr. Punjab contest organised by any channel. Balraj Singh was declared 1st Runners Up while Ramanjeet Singh and Prince Narula were declared joint 2nd Runners Up of the contest.
The runners up got a cheque of Rs.50,000 each. The programme was organised at Khalsa College grounds with performances by various celeberated artistes. The artistes who performed included Malkeet Singh, Jazzy Bains, Nachhatar Gill, Jassi Gill and Ammy Virk.
Satinder Satti anchored the show in her inimitable style. The judges of the show included Bollywood actress Divya Dutta, Famous actor-comedian Gurpreet Singh Ghuggi, Golden Star Singer Malkeet Singh UK and Tarun Khanna. Ten contestants were present on the stage when the show started but five out of them were eliminated in an elimination round leaving five finalists to vie for Mr Punjab title.
Rabindra Narayan, president and Rajie M Shinde CEO of PTC Punjabi and sponsors of the show did the honours.
