Department of School & Mass Education, Government of Odisha has adopted Student Academic Management System (SAMS) for merit-based admissions in Junior Colleges. There are 30 Junior SAMS Nodal Colleges and 28 Degree SAMS Nodal Colleges for the academic session 2017-18. The students had to fill the Common Application Form (CAF) for participating the admission process of Junior Colleges and they were allowed to mention maximum 10 choices of Junior Colleges in CAF.
As per the rules, e-admission is compulsory in all +2 Junior Educational Institutions including Self-financing (Junior) Educational Institutions, Vocational & Sanskrit Educational Institutions across Odisha. DHE Odisha had earlier published the first round selection merit list on 13th June and the selected students had to confirm their admission on or before 20th June. Now, as per the schedule, DHE Odisha 2nd merit list 2017 is to be published today on 23rd June.
The applicants can check DHE Odisha 2nd merit list from the official website www.dheodisha.gov.in to know their merit status. The students allotted a junior college will be issued an intimation letter. The Intimation letter to the selected applicants will be transmitted through five modes: SMS (on registered mobile number), Email (on registered email id), Website (dheodisha.gov.in), College Notice Board and Toll Free Number (155335 or 1800-3456770).
The applicants can download the intimation letter from the website www.dheodisha.gov.in. The selected candidates will have to produce the intimation letter before the admission committee at the Destination College on the specified date and time mentioned in the intimation letter. Applicants will have to report to the College with all the original documents and pay the requisite admission fee at the college counter.
The admissions to the applicants selected in the 2nd round will remain open from June 24 o 28. The Junior College will report the vacancies on June 29 and 3rd merit list will be published on 3rd July. The Classes in Junior Colleges start on 6th July.
