NewZNew (Chandigarh) : A couturier of international distinction and repute, Adarsh Gill pioneered the use of exquisite Indian craftsmanship and techniques on western styles to suit the finer sensibilities of the extremely discerning fashion industry in the U.S in the 70’s. She went on to launch her highly successful brand ‘SAZ’ that retailed in the most exclusive stores of New York.
She further expanded her global vision and moved to Paris in the mid-80, the Mecca of fashion. She combined her design skills with the demands of European style and color palettes and created a niche for herself with most of the renowned French and Italian couture houses.
She returned to India in the early 90’s to successfully launch her signature flagship ADARSH GILL COUTURE store in Mumbai, followed by another in New Delhi. Her talent and vast experience resulted in the creation of exquisite garments in both western as well as Indian styles, leaving many a customer yearning to be clad exclusively in Adarsh Gill couture bespoke pieces.
A lifelong passion for Interiors led Adarsh Gill to open the ADARSH GILL HOME store in 2004. An exquisite collection of teak and rosewood furniture clad with sterling silver in Indian ,Victorian and contemporary styles, the vast range includes four poster beds, sofas, armchairs, dining tables , consoles and mirrors.
