NewZNew (Chandigarh) : After making a mark in Chandigarh, ‘Cocktail’ – A Lifestyle & Wedding exhibition made a stylish debut in Hotel Park Plaza in Ludhiana, who’s residents are known the World over for their zest for life and lapping up the latest in high fashion. The Exhibition was inaugurated today by ‘Yoddha Fame’ Actor Hektor Sandhu & Mr B C Nagpal, who is a well known Industrialist of Ludhiana. The exhibition has high profile ‘exhibitor presence’ not witnessed in Ludhiana before. ‘Cocktail’ saw a scintillating, unique & exquisite symbol of the high life being launched. Zaira Diamonds, who are sponsors of the exhibition, presented an i Phone 6 range studded with exclusive Diamonds. So now you will be able to have a smart i Phone 6 which is actually Gold Plated & Diamond Studded.  What’s more, you will be able to buy real Diamond & Crushed Stones Jewellery Watches too at Cocktail which is on till December 14.

Cocktail has been brought to Ludhiana by a young entrepreneur couple – Neha & Amit Singla, who run the company — ‘A Million Dollar Affair’. Says Neha, “The Exhibition is a treasure trove for those who want to shop for Haute Indian Bridal wear for the ongoing wedding season. But there is a lot more on offer. Keeping in mind Christmas and New Years when everyone is in the party mood, we have catered for chic top end couture for high profile parties. Fashion conscious Divas of Ludhiana can have a pick from a wide array of apparel like Cocktail gowns, Bodycon dresses, Crop tops, Midi skirts, Cigarette pants etc. The idea at Cocktail is to provide a Western touch to Indian dresses to create that unique Indo -Western apparel.” Designers like Zephyr, Aamani and Libaas Mojaris are the centre of attraction at the exhibition.  57 creative designers of apparel, interior decor products, jewellery, lifestyle accessories.etc have put up their collections at the Exhibition.

ollywood Photographer Deepika, who has made a name for herself through her celebrity photography service – ‘Deepika Deep Clicks’ has put up a stall at the exhibition. Deepika has done photo shoots for Bollywood bigwigs like Shahrukh Khan, Sonam Kapoor, Varun Dhawan , Aryan Babbar etc. ‘Snutch’ is a label of handbags that flaunt digital designs, launched by a young duo Sanjana & Jasmeet, who have just passed out of design school. Says Sanjana, “We use graphics and create breath-taking designs. We are presenting a unique handbags collection designed for everyday styling. The collection is versatile.” A very eclectic collection of Home Decor & Western Wear that has a very English feeling to it has been showcased by Ripsy Bhatia. Simran of The You is back in Ludhiana with the latest PAK/DUBAI Silk, Pashmina, Crepe, Velvet collections of brands like Charizma, Gul Ahmed et al.  Presenting a glimpse of home furnishing is Rugz by Payal. Says Payal, “With muted colors, fantastic designs our web portal Rugz.in is the only one that deals in hand-knotted carpets. Our products are rich in fibre and strong in color made using 100% bamboo silk.” Then there is Jewellery by Alka which certainly adds interest to an outfit, and surely makes you look much more modern and polished. Cocktail  has an enticing variety — bridal ensembles, Honeymoon packages , Western wear , Evening Gowns, footwear , Pakistani concepts , ethnic wear , traditional wear  & accessories etc.  A lot of attention has been paid to Home furnishings & décor products, arte-facts by ‘Bageecha’ are quite a draw.
