Library, DAV College, Sector-10, Chandigarh organised a Book exhibition on “Women Biographies and Women Empowerment” to mark the International Women’s Day which was inaugurated by Dr. B.K. Vermani, officiating principal. A slogan writing competition  for the students was also organised by the library on the theme “From a Caring Mother to a Competitive CEO: women you are a Marvellous Multi-tasker. Best entries were awarded by Dr. B.K. Vermani, officiating principal.

Addressing the faculty and the students, the college Librarian Deepti Madaan brought into light various categories of books displayed like biographies on women achievers in various domains, fiction and books highlighting the issues concerning women.  She also wished the students a very promising and progressive future. Faculty members and the students also participated in the signature campaign as part of the celebrations.
