Bollywood Star Designer & Exclusive Stylist of Salman Khan Ashley Rebello felicitated the 2017 pass out brigade of young designers of INIFD Chandigarh. He gave awards to the INIFD “Young Achievers” and also felicitated “Student of the Year Award” to the students.
Ashley is working on upcoming project with Salman Khan – RACE 3, Winner of Stardust Award for Best Costume Design for Salman Khan’s look in Bollywood Blockbuster ‘SULTAN’ also Designed Costumes for over 60 Feature Films both Indian & International, with Bollywood hit films like ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’, Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, Dabangg, reality TV show ‘Bigg Boss, over a 100 advertising commercials to his credit; he has done innumerable fashion shows and over 20 Television shows and many more to his credit. Ashley along with Salman Khan’s sister Alvira also has a store ‘Ahakzai’ in Mumbai.
Star Designer and INIFD Mentor Ashley Rebello was here for INIFD Annual Convocation and he also conducted a workshop with students to teach the art of Fashion Design and gave his creative inputs for their Design portfolio. He shared the intricacies of his designs in his upcoming projects like ‘RACE 3’, ‘Loveratri’ with INIFD students.
Congratulating the young designers Star Designer Ashley said, “I have been visiting INIFD centres across India despite of my busy schedule and as a Mentor to the INIFD students, I am teaching the ‘Art of Designing’ to them. At INIFD Chandigarh, I am impressed with the immense talent in the design students”. He said, “It is a matter of pride not only for INIFD but for the whole Country that the young aspiring designers have established a mark at FASHION SCOUT during London Fashion Week for four consecutive seasons and also world’s pioneer fashion week New York Fashion Week”.
INIFD Designers also showcased a Mini Fashion Show of their Collections presented during London Fashion Week at Fashion Scout 2018 and GenNext show 2018 at Lakme Fashion Week. During the workshop Ashley Rebello shared with the finer intricacies of the glamorous world of Fashion Design with the students. INIFD had organized this exclusive designer workshop with Ashley Rebello to enable the students to seek his seasoned guidance and benefit from his personal experience. In this specialized workshop Ashley spoke on the fashion trends of today globally.
From ramp shows to divas of the Hindi film Industry from stunning brides to hot models in photo shoot. Ashley has dressed them all. He has designed for the gorgeous Aishwarya Rai, stunning Katrina Kaif, the lovely Asin and the elegant Tabu….the list of lovely ladies is endless. He has designed for Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Shahid Kapur, Imran Khan.
Ashley Rebello, designed ace cricketer Yuvraj Singh’s wife Hazel Keech’s wedding outfits for Goa and for the mehendi and haldi ceremonies in Chandigarh. Amrita Arora looked a perfectly happy bride in an Ashley Rebello wedding gown.
Ashley Rebello is the most sought after designer who has designed the wardrobe for the hottest women of Bollywood. He designed for Mallika Sherawat for her appearance at the Cannes Film Festival, where she represented the Indian film industry.
The Designer Workshop of Ashley Rebello was a great learning experience for the INIFD students, which provided them with direct hands on experience of being a star designer. The design workshop also created awareness about the stylish and versatile upcoming fashion trends.
