Self-styled godman Asaram bapu has been imprisoned for life after the Jodhpur court convicted him in the 2013 rape case.

Early today Asaram was found guilty of raping a 16-year old in Jodhpur’s Manai in August 2013. He was soon arrested and charged under POSCO Act. Two of his accomplices were sentenced to 20-year jail term each.
