NewZNew (Mumbai) : JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar kick starts the festive season with their campaign ‘Celebrate at JW Sahar’ which will showcase a cake exhibition at the lobby from 19th to 25th September 2015.
The hotel will showcase 50 customized cakes based on various themes such as casino, beaches, swimming pool, Bollywood, Hollywood, cheese and book cake, baseball, car themed cake, fashion themed cake, painting set cake and a variety of traditional wedding cakes to name a few. Guests can order cakes in different flavors such as Crunchy Hazelnut Almond Marzipan, Toffee Coffee, Caramelized pineapple cake, Red Velvet, Chocolate Truffle and Dry fruit cake.
Also, to showcase alongside the cake exhibition is the first ever life size replica of the beautiful chandelier that adorns the lobby of JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar, made from chocolate. Chef Santosh Rawat, Executive Pastry Chef, JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar will be leading this cake exhibit.
Commenting on the same, he says, “We at JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar have designed an elegant and eclectic gamut of scrumptious cakes, keeping in mind the impeccable taste of our guests. Our guests can taste a few flavours of the cakes exhibited and place their orders at the JW Baking Company. The replica of our chandelier in chocolate will surely be a visual delight for our guests”.
Chef Santosh Rawat has to his credit over 13 years of experience in Bakery operations in the hospitality industry in India. Currently, he is the Executive Pastry Chef with JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar. He possesses extensive experience in setting up a Pastry/ Bakery unit and in creating menus. His forte is flavors and textures which he is incredible at. Chef Santosh Rawat has gained his commendable experience over the years at different 5 star properties like Grand Hyatt Mumbai, Shangri-la Abu-Dhabi, JW Marriott Chandigarh.
