The Municipal Corporation Chandigarh is going to organize ‘Teej’ programme on 2nd August, 2017 at Fragrance Garden, Sector 36, Chandigarh from 5.00 pm to 9.00 pm. Famous Punjabi singer Alfaz would enthrall public during the cultural function.
Smt. Sunita Dhawan, Chairperson, Arts, Culture & Sports committee, MC, Chandigarh informed here today that Mrs. Justice Daya Chaudhary, Justice Punjab & Haryana Court will be the Chief Guest during the function. She said that Mehandi Stalls, Phulkari, Kheer Pude and Painting & Soft toys exhibitions and folk dances and songs will be held during the function. She further said that a female singer Mandeep Kaur also present her good Punjabi numbers amid Gidha and Luddi.
